Vijeta Desai, M.Ed., BCBA

Behavioral Program Director, Sleep Support Consultant

Vijeta is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with a Master’s in Education in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Cincinnati. Since entering the field in 2022, she has worked extensively with children and adolescents aged 2 to 17 across various settings, including homes, schools, and community environments.

With a strong belief in child-led therapy, Vijeta empowers children to take the lead in their therapeutic journey, encouraging deeper engagement and long-term progress. She embraces a compassionate, individualized approach—using evidence-based strategies to support development in communication, daily living skills, social-emotional growth, and safety. Her work is grounded in empathy and sensitivity, particularly when supporting children who have experienced adversity.

In addition to her work in behavior analysis, Vijeta is a dedicated sleep consultant. She deeply understands the critical role sleep plays in everyday learning, behavior, and overall quality of life. By combining behavioral science with practical, compassionate strategies, she supports families in addressing challenges such as bedtime struggles, frequent night wakings, and irregular routines. Her holistic approach takes into account daily habits, emotional well-being, and family dynamics, allowing her to create sustainable, individualized sleep solutions that benefit the entire household.

Drawing from both her professional experience and her perspective as a mother, Vijeta brings valuable insight to the families she supports. With a calm, thoughtful style, she empowers caregivers with the tools and confidence they need to build healthier routines, stronger connections, and more peaceful homes—both during the day and through the night.

Outside of her professional life, Vijeta enjoys spending time with her family, engaging in arts and crafts with her child, crocheting, and relaxing with Netflix and popcorn.
