Sleep Consultation
Adequate and restful sleep is essential to regulating our bodies throughout the day, at both conscious and physiological levels. This is especially important for children, as it can have significant effects on their behavior, mood, learning, and ability to self-regulate.
We believe in gentle, supportive sleep interventions that respect both the child's emotional needs and the family's parenting philosophy.
We never use "cry it out" methods or any extinction based approaches that may or may not involve leaving a child alone to cry.
Our goal is to help families find a sustainable approach to sleep that works for everyone involved without compromising on emotional well-being or attachment security.
Our interventions focus on:
Collaborating with medical professionals as needed to rule out any possible medical factors that could be contributing to sleep issues
Creating consistent, calming bedtime routines
Addressing environmental factors that may disrupt sleep
Gradually building independent sleep skills with parental support
Teaching self-soothing techniques that are appropriate for the child’s current developmental level
Supporting parents through the transition with empathy and practical strategies
Responding to the child's emotional needs throughout the process
Making adjustments based on the child's responses and the family’s comfort level

Once connected, you and your clinician will set up your first consultation appointment.
All appointments are held virtually through our HIPAA compliant Google Meets service.
