Makenzie Welch, M.Ed., BCBA

Behavioral Program Director

Makenzie has a range of experience working with early intervention clients all the way to adulthood! After earning her Master’s degree in education and teaching all different aged children in a variety of settings, she became intrigued about behavior change and pursued her BCBA certification. Currently, she is passionate about applying ABA in new ways to open up doors and opportunities for her clients to find the most joy possible! She also enjoys teaching coping skills, social skills, and pre-academics. She is very passionate about Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and hopes to apply this to her life and integrate it into her clients' lives whenever possible.

In her free time, Makenzie enjoys reading murder mystery novels, hanging out with friends and family (her dogs included!), going outside to enjoy the sunshine, doing yoga, listening to music, and attending live theatre performances (pre-pandemic!)
