Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How many hours per week do you provide?

The number of recommended therapy hours per week varies per client, and is decided in collaboration with the family. There is no minimum hour requirement, so some clients may schedule a once-a-week session while others will may schedule daily sessions.

Who provides the direct services?

Our team is made up of Program Directors (BCBAs) and Program Managers (Master’s-Level clinicians working toward BCBA certification) who all provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy. A client may be placed with one or two clinicians, depending on insurance requirements, client preference, and clinician specialty. All clinicians have at least 5 or more years of experience providing naturalistic ABA therapy.

Do you accept insurance?

We are currently out-of-network for most insurance companies. We do have an insurance specialist who can help confirm your out-of-network benefits and submit authorization requests on your behalf. We provide claims forms every 2 weeks for clients to submit to their insurance for reimbursement. We also have the option to directly bill your insurance if your plan permits. We most commonly work with Anthem, Aetna, Meritain, Premera, and Blue Cross as an out-of-network provider.

Do parents need to be at sessions?

Parent involvement is a critical part of our model - you are the expert on your child and we want to learn from you too! Our collaborative model requires that parents participate in at least a part of every session.

Where do sessions take place?

Our sessions take place in the home, daycare, school, and/or community. Outings to community locations such as parks, grocery stores, and group classes are a great way to generalize skills and teach clients to participate in the community.
